Just started out on the kit and all the frustrations I encountered with it some years ago were there again! The overall shape is off, size and placement of the side- windows is wrong. Although I still must find the 1:1 dimensions, I get the impression that the main rotor head sits too high and should be trimmed down a few mm. The surface detail to me looks too rough for 1/72, a bit like the older Airfix- kits and I sanded most of it away.
The kit has a winch, antennnas and alternative sponsons that were not on the previous Italeri releases that I know of and look ok.
Too bad Italeri didn't decide to turn this into a completely new release and make an EC225/ 725.
