The port side panel and control stands were also replaced with printed parts to better express the condition of V3 in NASM.

I used 0.4 mm brass rods and 0.5*0.6 copper tubes to replace the original spikes.

Anyone know how this kit compare with Tamiya's old one? From the perspective of accuracy and fittings?

I'm thinking of doing it as A-10 in SCUD hunting missions. Do anyone know which units had participated in such missions? Also what is the weapon load out for such a mission? I read in some sources that only AGM-65 was used. In some other sources, AIM-9 and LAU-131 were also used.

These squadrons have aircraft with Scud mission markings:
353 TFS
355 TFS
76 TFS
23 TASS
"Hunting Scud missiles soon became a coalition preoccupation, and Hog played its part. Daylight Scud Combat Air Patrols (CAP) were mainly flown by ten aircraft assigned to the Al Jouf FOL. They conducted road reconnaissance missions in pairs, as the Iraqi missiles were usually launched close to major highways. Crews used binoculars to assist a visual search. The Scud CAP flew at 12,000-15,000ft, remaining above effective antiaircraft artillery fire, working their designated 'kill boxes'."

Use this site for loads. I dont see anything specific for Scud hunts though.

Hey Eric, thank you very much for the information! It looks the Desert Storm site has a good bunch of reference pictures as well. I think I will do 2*AGM-65, 2*AIM-9 and MK. 82. A funny thing I found is that they have one AGM-65D under one wing and one AGM-65A under the other. I think it will be a interesting point to be added to my project.
