Sorry I can't seem to find a place to just post a question to the Admin.
I stumbled across the Tamiya 1/35 Russian Army T72 M1 and the topic it was under was "Utility", which is incorrect and should be Tank.
I could not find any pull down etc to make the change so I just typed Russian Army in the topic section. Sorry if I messed the "topic" section up but this should be easier to change or create the original, correctly.

If you change the topic, ideally you should follow a proposition that appears when you typed a few letters. Rarely it happens a topic doesn't exist yet. I should say the topic in this case would be T72?

The typical "Topic" indicated on other subjects is the word "Tank Vehicle" after the type or version of said tank. For example I would type in T72 M1 and hit save, and when I check it later it says T72 M1 Tank (vehicle).
But I don't know where or how the "Tank (vehicle) portion comes from, I did not type it in.
And the T72 M1 tank was showing up as T72 M1 Utility... the sam "topic" as a field kitchen
It seems fine now....

The Tank (vehicle) comes from info on the topic "T-72".
SCM Topic: T-72
So entering "T-72" for the topic is correct, we just show a bit more info on the actual page.
An F-35B (or other variants) would be assigned to topic "Lockheed F-35 Lightning II"
You would see " » Jets (Aircraft)" being auto added
If that extra bit is wrong (eg. for a plane it shows car) you need to modify the "topic"

The original topic said T-72 and in grey font said Utility, it should have said Tank (vehicle) not 'Utility" Its the second portion of the topic that was incorrect and I had no idea how to get it to change to Tank (vehicle) there has no pull down or way to select Tank and change it from utility.

If you mean this kit, T-72 M1 (Tamiya 35160, 1:35) , I only see T-72 in the topic field in edit mode.

I think some of the the responses are getting mixed up here between Topic and Subject
The Topic name T72 cannot be changed by anyone but Tim - new topics can be created.
The Topic itself can be edited, Category (which I believe was the OPs concern), Manufacturers, Dates, Alternative name(s) (The alternative here is (T-90), however I dont believe it should have the brackets)
For detail you go to the Kit and populate below the topic field , like someone has done in the Tamiya example, the subject will self populate as you type in the text. Sometimes there are issues with this and it will revert to something else , you just raise them with Tim, as they arise.
