Dr PlasticI owned this kit (VERY briefly) in the late 90's... what a piece of crud! The canopy was a solid, foggy chunk of resin full of bubbles. The main parts were so warped and misaligned they'd never go together, with even the gorilla-ist of glues. Wheels were un-detailed discs, landing gear were less convincing than pieces of bent paper clip, and don't get me started on the white metal parts! No decals, either. Horrible kit, I returned it to the hobby shop the next day.

Dr PlasticMine finally arrived in the mail and I'm pleasantly surprised. Took a good 30 mins to pore over the sprues: its the exact same kit as the 1984 Revell release, but Macross branded now. They even included some lengths of chain for the overhead cranes! This thing is so cool, I'm overjoyed to finally own one! Direct yourself over to Ebay and get one before prices skyrocket...
